Configuration in Business Central

Business Central account for enaio Consulting

Responsibility: Customer 

To setup the connection to enaio® within Business Central, Optimal Systems GmbH needs to have an account with access to Business Central within the customer scope.
Furthermore, the account needs to have the SUPER role for all companies in Business Central.

Configure Microsoft Entra Applications

Responsibility: Customer

Create a new app named enaioAccessApp under Microsoft Entra Application. Use the information from the Entra ID application registration of enaioAccessApp.

Administrative privileges are required for this configuration in the customer Entra!

  1. Client-ID:
    Client ID of the Entra App enaioAccessApp.

  2. Description:
    Enter enaioAccessApp.

  3. State
    Set the field state to Enabled.

  4. In case the Entra app enaioAccessApp wasn't granted consent yet in Microsoft Entra ID, use the function Grant Consent.

After the app is created in Business Central add following permissions.

To add the User Permission Sets the Business Central App enaio Integration must be installed already!

Configure enaio general setup

Responsibility: enaio Consulting

For this, you need the values from the registration of the enaioAccessApp.

Set up the sction OAuth in enaio General Setup of the enaio Integration app in Business Central.

  • OAuth Domain
    Specifies the Azure AD Domain the enaio system is hosted in. The value has to be given like https://your.domain.

  • OAuth Microsoft ID
    Microsoft Tenent ID from the customer that hosts the enaio system. The value looks like 'acb77931-8921-45f8-bbdf-d24feabd37b9'.

  • OAuth Client ID
    AppId of  enaioAccessApp.

  • OAuth Client Secret
    Secret of  enaioAccessApp.

  • OAuth Session (s)
    empty

  • OAuth use BC User for enaio Connection
    deactivated
